English dot Community is a group of passionate, experienced English teachers and dedicated students working together to change the way we study English.
We share a passion for helping our students
reach their full potential in, and through,
their English studies.
English dot Community was created by teachers, not by business people.
We all know that English learning is big business! Someone, somewhere, is making a lot of money, but guess what – it’s not teachers, and it’s certainly not students.
We focus on teaching fairly and affordably. We do this by utilising technology for good, and by sharing the expense and experience of learning through memberships.
This means our students get excellent value for money, which is really, really important to us.
It also means that our teachers get paid properly, which means they are able to spend more time creating the excellent lessons and materials that you deserve. It’s a win-win!
We want to change the way we learn and teach English, and that starts by putting people, not business, right in the centre of everything we do.
Our students play a massive role in creating the English school they want and need. We make every decision with their direct input and advice, and even our school manager, Joanna, is a student (and she’s in charge of hiring and supervising the teachers, which we think is awesome!)
We listen to everything our students say and ask for, hire the teachers they like, and run the courses they want to study.
We are creating English dot Community for you.
Being a small group means that we can adapt and adjust super quickly, which is great news for you!
Most of what we do, from starting an online school to running one-off workshops, is based on what our students ask us to do and the changes they want us to make.
