So you’ve reached an Advanced (C1) level of English?

My goodness – you’re amazing!

Why stop there, though?

Take the next step in your English journey with the support of Kerrin and some fantastic classmates from all over the world. You’ll get the consistent advice, materials and feedback you need to keep making progress and avoid getting ‘stuck’ at Advanced level. Even though that’s a pretty great place to get stuck, it’s much better to feel like you’re making consistent progress towards proficiency.

Is this course for me?

In this course, you will practise C1-level reading, listening, speaking and writing skills, as well as learning vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation.

Are you an Advanced (C1) or strong high-intermediate (B2) English learner?

Do you want to keep making progress with the goal of reaching a proficiency level?

Are you looking for a flexible way to learn that fits around your schedule?

If so, this course is for you.

This is the first of two ten-week Advanced (C2) units that we run.

What are the materials like?

Advanced C1 Term1

Kerrin’s advanced lessons are fun, dynamic and communicative. Students will have a chance to express themselves and develop a deeper interest in the English language and the world around them. Each student is encouraged to develop confidence in their own voice within a supportive environment.

Lessons will focus on all four skills (speaking, writing, listening and reading) as well as pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary. You will receive feedback on your written work each week, and there will be two (stress-free) exams to test your progress.

Meet Your Teacher

I’ve been teaching English in schools and universities since 2008, and English dot Community is my passion project. I’m always looking for ways to help learners reach their own goals so that English is not a barrier to them  living the life they want to live.

I’ve created this course after many, many classes and  conversations with amazing English learners who have reached a high level without being taught the basics. Once you have the basics under your belt, nothing can hold you back. I look forward to working with you!
