(AN ADVANCED READING LESSON)

Unless you have been living under a rock this week, you would have heard the name Ruth Bader Ginsburg, or RBG for short, mentioned once or twice on social media or on the news. This remarkable woman died late last week, aged 87, having accomplished an incredible amount within her life.

This week’s lesson is based on the BBC’s obituary of Ginsburg, which goes into detail about her life, her work, her personal life, and her major achievements. You can read the obituary here: Ruth Bader Ginsburg: Obituary of the Supreme Court justice
